It was made official this morning on the TBS All Star Game Selection Show. Matt Kemp was voted in by the fans as a starter in the 2011 All Star Game and Clayton Kershaw as named as one of the pitchers for the National League. This is a first time selection for both Kemp & Kershaw, following Andre Ethier's first time selection in 2010. It is nice to see fans give Kemp that final push to be named a starter. He is having an amazing season thus far and is very deserving.
Now it is time to get your votes in for the 2011 All Star Game Final Vote! Andre Ethier, Todd Helton, Ian Kennedy, Michael Morse & Shane Victorino are all vying for the fans vote to be the final selection to the National League All Star roster. It would be awesome for Ethier to be selected since the All Star game is in his hometown of Phoenix, Arizona!
