Joc Pederson Autograph Signing - Photos and Recap

On June 4, 2016, Joc Pederson was scheduled to sign autographs at Frank & Son Collectible Show.  The show was promoted by Hall of Fame Sports and Joc was scheduled to appear from 10:30am to 11:30am.  As usual Hall of Fame Sports did line ups based on the order of tickets purchased.  I arrived at approximately 10:00am, picked up my tickets all will call and since I had purchased my tickets early, I had a low number and got in line.

I already had a couple items signed by Joc in my personal collection but decided to get a couple of 2015 All Star baseballs signed since Joc made his first all star appearance in the 2015 mid-summer classic.  Joc put his signature under the all star game logo as desired but just like at other signings, he didn't appear to happy to be there.  I thanked him for making the appearance and headed out to another signing that was taking place up the freeway.

Thanks to Hall of Fame Sports for another well run event.  Until the next time!

Joc Pederson Autograph Signing - Photos and Recap

On Saturday September 9, 2014, Joc Pederson was scheduled to sign autographs at Frank and Son Collectible Show from 10am to 11am.  The signing was co-promoted by OC Dugout and Honabach and Sons.  I had purchased my tickets ahead of time so I arrived at 9:30am to pick up my tickets from will call.

When I arrived the will call line was extremely long and moving slowly!  It took me just about 30-minutes just to pick up my tickets.  Once I received my tickets, I jumped in the VIP line and waited for the signing to start.  At right around 10am, Joc came out from the back and started signing.  He wasn't the most friendly player I've met.  He barely spoke and when he was finished signing my baseball he just placed it on the table in front of him.  To be completely honest, he looked like he wanted to be somewhere else.  It was his first signing, so I'm sure he was a little overwhelmed so I'll give him the benefit of the doubt.

I got two ROMLB signed by Joc to add to my personal collection.  I had previously purchased a Joc Pederson autograph on a 2013 Future Stars Game baseball.  You can tell that his signature has changed some.  Take a look at the pictures below and you will be able to see the difference between the new signature and the older one.

Overall it was a good signing.  The normal Honabach and Sons crew was present but didn't see some of the regular OC Dugout crew.  This could have led to the slow moving will call line.

Pick Ups From Dodger Auctions

Last week, I picked up a couple of items from the Dodgers online auction.  The first item I won through the auction was a Joc Pederson autographed baseball.  Joc Pederson was the Dodgers minor league player of the year in 2012 and is one of their top 5 minor league prospects.  In 2013, Pederson was selected to play in the All-Star Futures Game.  As you can see in the picture above his signature is on an official All-Star Futures Game baseball.  The signed ball is MLB Authenticated.

The second item I won in an auction is a Dodger flag.  The flag is also MLB Authenticated.  This flag flew on the rooftop of Wrigley Field during the second half of the 2013 season.  I was really interested in the is item because it was part of historic Wrigley Field.  In 2014, Wrigley Field will turn 100 years old.  Take a look at the flag below. I taped it to my door for this picture so you could see how big it is.
