On Saturday August 2, 2014, Dee Gordon made an autograph appearance at Harry's Dugout in the City of Whittier. Dee was scheduled to sign from 11am to 12pm. Similar to signings put on by Honabach and Sons and the OC Dugout, Harry's Dugout offered a VIP line for those who purchased the first 50 autograph tickets. Even though I've had Dee sign a couple of items at a previous paid signing (click here), I wanted to get a 2014 All-Star ball signed. Since I don't make it out to the Ravine too often, I figured I'd take advantage of this paid signing.
Dee arrived a few minutes before 11am and after signing a few items for the shop, the line started moving. My nephew and I were lucky enough to be the second and third person to get their items signed. Dee was cordial as always and we were out of the shop and on the road home by 11am! There were approximately 200 people who showed up for the signing as the lines snaked out of the shop and around the building.
