Trayce Thompson Autograph Signing - Photos and Recap

On June 4, 2016, Dodger outfielder Trayce Thompson was scheduled to sign autographs at El Tepeyac restaurant from 11:00am to 12:30pm.  This signing was being promoted by OC Dugout and Honabach and Sons.  This signing was immediately after the Joc Pederson signing that I mentioned in my last post.  It was a short drive on the 60 freeway from Frank and Son Collectible Show.

I arrived around a few minutes after 11am and picked up my tickets from will call.  As I was picking up my tickets my group was called so I got right in line.  Trayce was in good spirits and was interacting with fans as he signed their autographs.  I got Trayce to sign an ORMLB with his Dodger Debut inscription.  Take a look at the picture of the crowd and my signed ball below.

Joc Pederson Autograph Signing - Photos and Recap

On June 4, 2016, Joc Pederson was scheduled to sign autographs at Frank & Son Collectible Show.  The show was promoted by Hall of Fame Sports and Joc was scheduled to appear from 10:30am to 11:30am.  As usual Hall of Fame Sports did line ups based on the order of tickets purchased.  I arrived at approximately 10:00am, picked up my tickets all will call and since I had purchased my tickets early, I had a low number and got in line.

I already had a couple items signed by Joc in my personal collection but decided to get a couple of 2015 All Star baseballs signed since Joc made his first all star appearance in the 2015 mid-summer classic.  Joc put his signature under the all star game logo as desired but just like at other signings, he didn't appear to happy to be there.  I thanked him for making the appearance and headed out to another signing that was taking place up the freeway.

Justin Turner and Adrian Gonzalez Autograph Appearance - Photos and Recap

On April 2, 2016, Justin Turner and Adrian Gonzalez were scheduled to sign autographs at The OC Dugout in Anaheim.  Turner was scheduled to sign from 10:30am to 12:30pm and Gonzalez was scheduled to sign from 12pm-1pm.  Being that I had purchased my tickets in advanced, I arrived at 10am and picked up my will call tickets.

Once 10:30am arrived Turner began signing right away.  I was through the line quickly and Justin was in a great mood chatting with fans.  Take a look at the items I got signed below.

Since I had time to kill before Gonzalez arrived I headed to the back side of The OC Dugout store.  They had set up a few tables and chairs and were giving away free chips, soft drinks and Dodgers Dogs.  This was one of the coolest signings i've been to.  I thought it was an awesome gesture for the OC Dugout and Honabach and Sons to provide the free food for all in attendance.

When it came time for Gonzalez to sign I headed back to the front of the store and found my place in line.  Take a look at my Gonzalez items.

Gonzalez was scheduled to sign for only an hour so the line was moving pretty quickly.  Gonzalez still found time to chat with fans.  As most OC Dugout and Honabach and Sons signings go, this signing was well organized.  The earlier you purchase your tickets the closer you are to the front of the line.

Frank Robinson Autograph Signing - Photos and Recap

On February 6, 2016, Hall of Famer Frank Robinson was scheduled to sign autographs at the Frank and Son Event Center from 12pm-1pm.  This event was promoted by Hall of Fame Sports.  I didn't want to pass up the opportunity to add a Hall of Fame member to my PC so I purchased my ticket in advance and arrived at Frank and Son at 10am.  

Robinson was on time and the signing began promptly at 12pm.  I made my way through the line rather quickly and when I made it to the front, Robinson noticed my Dodger cap and asked me how I though the team would do this upcoming season.  I told him that barring major injuries, the Dodgers would be just fine.  He signed my ball with the HOF 82 inscription and I was on my way.  Another smooth and organized signing from Hall of Fame Sports.

Johnny Bench Autograph Signing - Photos and Recap

On December 19, 2015, Hall of Fame Catcher Johnny Bench was scheduled to sign autographs at the OC Dugout in Anaheim, CA.  Bench was scheduled to sign from 10am-12:30pm and I figured I couldn't miss out on getting an autograph from this Hall of Famer, especially since the autograph came with a free HOF 89 inscription.

I arrived at the OC Dugout a few minutes after 10am and Johnny Bench had already begun signing.  I picked up my will call autograph ticket, got in line and in less than 10 minutes I had made it to the front of the line.  Mr. Bench was very nice and was posing for pictures for those that asked.  Although he was a member of the Big Red Machine, I was happy to add this Hall of Famer to my personal collection.

As always the OC Dugout put on a well organized signing.  No hassles and everything runs smoothly!

Kike Hernandez Autograph Signing - Photos and Recap

On Saturday June 20, 2015, Enrique "Kike" Hernandez was scheduled to sign autographs at Frank & Son Collectible Show from 10am-11am.  The signing was promoted by Hall of Fame Sports and Carlos Frias and Manny Mota were also scheduled to sign.  Unfortunately, Frias was starting the Dodger game that afternoon and had to cancel his appearance.  Hall of Fame Sports let everyone know they will reschedule the Frias signing.

There was a pretty decent sized crowd for the Kike Hernandez signing.  Based on the energy he brings to the team and his infamous Rally Banana, he is quickly becoming a fan favorite.  My nephew who usually attends these shows with me had to work so I picked up a signed ROMLB, pictured above, for his collection.  

As for me, I got an 8x10 signed by Kike with the "Balk Off" inscription since a couple nights before he had forced Rangers pitcher Keone Kela to balk.  Due to Kike's dancing down the third baseline, Kela balked and Kike scored the winning run.  You can see the photo I got signed below.  Also below are a few pics of Kike signing.  He was a pretty chill guy and had a constant smile on his face as he interacted with the fans.  As always it was another smooth signing put on by Hall of Fame Sports.
